Who we are

We are a group of professionals that have owned and operated restaurants in Vancouver for 25 years.

Our founder, Matt Thompson has owned and operated more than a dozen restaurants in Vancouver which have been wildly successful, but only after learning from mistakes. Our team has dealt with all the trials and tribulations of owning and operating a restaurant and bar.

We have dealt with building permits, auditors, designers, the liquor board, health, fire, and safety. We even had a car drive through the front window once at the end of the night. No one was hurt, thankfully.

We have made all of the mistakes, so you don’t have to.

We’re  here to help you succeed without having to do all of the work! 

Our personalized system can help you manage your costs and keep you on budget in real time. Most importantly, we help you control your money by monitoring it regularly – bank account and credit card statements, POS sales and activity, suppliers. Our goal is to take away the paperwork, so you can focus on what’s important – getting bums in seats! 

The only administration your manager has to do is the schedule.

We act as your bookkeeper, financial manager, and administrative manager. We keep your staff on track and on budget using our management tracker sop tablet. The biggest benefit of working with us is personal access. We communicate with you weekly about budgets, cashouts, tips.and operational difficulties.

In the restaurant business paperwork is unfortunately an afterthought. There are too many distractions and things going on as you manage the floor. As operators, we know that the young people we hire generally have a lack of experience and training in the back end.

About our founder Matt Thompson

Matt Thompson has been in the restaurant and bar industry for 25 years. He has owned or operated 15 restaurants and has served as the general contractor for 10 restaurants in the Vancouver area. He has also worked as a consultant and has hired more than 1,000 employees over that period.

The restaurants he has owned and operated have exceeded 50 million in sales. His speciality is restaurants that are 50-250 seat operations.
